Help Desk Technical Support Connection

Primary Method for Technical Support Connection:

Bestware Tech Support

Download and run the Bestware Tech Support link above to be presented with different help desk options.  Double-click the appropriate help desk number as directed by your help desk technician.

Secondary Method for Technical Support Connection:

Google Chrome Remote Desktop

The Google Remote Desktop app requires that you be logged into a gmail account.  If you already use Google Chrome internet browser and are logged into your gmail account, this will be easy.
1.  Click the link above “Google Chrome Remote Desktop” to bring you to https://remotedesktop.google.com/support/
2.  The Get Support box will have a link to either generate a code or to download the Chrome Remote Desktop.  If it has generate a code, then go to number 5 below.  Otherwise, select the download button to install the web version of the app.
3.  Select the option to add the Chrome Extension.  Allow the browser to run ChromeRemoteDesktopHost.msi if it asks to do that.
4.  The extension will add an icon in the upper right of the address bar called “Chrome Remote Desktop.”  Select this icon whenever you want to start a remote desktop connection.
5.  In the Get Support box, select Generate Code to get a code to give to your help desk technician. The code will expire in 5 minutes.  Text him the code or tell him the code over the phone.
